Michael R. Dunn grew up and went to school in Dearborn. After entering the practice of law he worked for a large area law firm successfully representing families that were affected by the release of toxic chemicals at a site in the city of Port Huron. He drew on his training to maneuver through the complex terminology and expert medical testimony at issue. He soon transitioned into his own practice which was often devoted to cases rich with technical medical issues and has spent the last 32 years working with many clients with a wide range of complex medical conditions.

He has devoted much of his time learning all there is to know about Michigan workman’s compensation laws. He is active in the Detroit and Macomb County Bar Associations and the American and Michigan Trial Lawyer’s Associations, where he has been a guest speaker. He spends much of his free time coaching AAU Girl’s Basketball.
